Sheila began teaching in 1989, and has since taught a diverse range of children and adults.
Based in Edinburgh, piano pupils tend to start aged 7 or 8, but she thoroughly enjoys teaching all ages and abilities!

As adults have a fairly erratic lifestyle, organ lessons can be as frequent as you wish!

Voice for Life:
Voice for Life is an educational programme developed by the Royal School of Church Music for adults and children that sing in a choir. Sheila runs Voice for Life classes for both children and adults, and information about these can be found on the Voice for Life tab at the top of this page.

- Understanding theory is an extremely useful tool, and Sheila has taught many pupils up to ABRSM Grade 5 theory, plus a few beyond.
- Relevant theory is incorporated into piano and organ lessons

- It includes rhythm and listening skills, encompassing an eclectic knowledge of musical styles, eras and genres.
